VMware Certified Professional 6 – Desktop (VCP6-DT) Exam Now Available
All I can say is, Linus told me so!
While in San Fran for VMworld 2014 I had the chance to stop VMware’s own Linus Bourque for a chat about my VCP5-DT cert path and to discuss my feelings on failing the DT Exam after reading his cert guide back to front. Yes, I did that. Best to get advice from the horses mouth I say. He was very supportive and gave me great advice on moving forward and knocking out that VCP5-DT, which I have not had the time to actually re-sit yet. He also said “I’ve just recently submitted my requirements for getting the VCP6-DT exam ready“, and this week it is now here!

What’s Next?
Looks like I should skip VCP5-DT? Or not? I am personally not really sure just yet. We currently have just completed a Horizon 6 Suite license purchase but still run View 5.x. The home lab has Horizon 6 so that will definitely help me grasp those new features that are not in my face during 9-5 yet.
