vSphere Virtual Machine Management
I am about to dive into my advance copy (about 2 weeks later than planned!) of the new VMware book, vSphere Virtual Machine Management by Rebecca Fitzhugh. I had the pleasure of becoming a friend of Rebecca’s when I attended her VMware training class in Houston in 2013. I am excited to see a friend/colleague of the VMware Community break into another branch of learning by publishing a book!
Whats in the book?
The book will go over many aspects of Virtual Machines (VMs) and touch on some of the below bullet points:
- Understanding virtual machine concepts
- Creating Vms using the wizards
- Discovering the advanced settings for VMs
- Managing multi-tiered applications with vApps
- As well as concepts like, monitoring, migrating, balancing resources and optimizing your virtual machines
