What was your 1st IT gig?

I was a Programmer, programming in Pascal (which I named my dog afterwards).

What is your current job title and role?

Currently, I am Sr. Presales Engineer for Splunk.

How many years have you been a vExpert?

3 years

What other IT Communities are you involved with or frequent?

Nutanix, EMC, Cisco

What advice would you give to others involved in the VMware community who are looking at becoming a vExpert?

Use Social media, write blog and be part of our elite community.

Do you currently have a Home Lab environment?

Yes and No. My current home lab has been turned off due to noise. i need to rethink about Mini Mac.

How do you use VMware products or services in your daily work life?

Do it all with VMware.

What certifications do you currently hold (if any)?

VCP-DCV, VCI

Tell us something about yourself that the community may not already know.

I love flying. Especially flying toys.

What’s your go to song or music genre when work stress becomes too much?

I am a hard core heavy metal listener since 1985. But since I am getting older, I like to listen to Jazz and Blues to relax sometimes if 2M and 2S is not doing it. (2M=MetallicaMegadeth 2S=SlayerSepultura)

Do you have a blog that you would like to share?

Yes, my blog is virtualdataland.com but it’s currently not very active.
