VMware vExpert 2014 Awards Announced
WOW! All I can still say is just wow! I am very shocked, excited and humbled at the same time. Feelings that don’t come very often all at the same time.What I am talking about? I am speaking in regards to VMware’s 2014 vExpert Award announcement this past week. And guess who made that list? Yours truly! Whoa, still kinda freaks me out.
So what is VMware’s 2014 vExpert Award you ask? VMware explains it like this: The vExpert award “is not a technical certification or even a general measure of VMware expertise” as VMware states. They go on to say, “The judges selected people who were particularly engaged with their community and who had developed a substantial personal platform of influence in those communities”
To be listed alongside some of the most knowledgable Virtualization Gurus in the world is just mind blowing. Many of this year & previous year winners of vExpert status are bloggers and tech heads that I follow closely on Twitter, Blogs, and in the VMware Communities. I look to these folks for the newest innovations or to find a better explanation to an issue I may have had. Now, I get to rank with them as a VMware vExpert.
